How to get developer/access key for Mini Sap

For develop application you can use BCUSER. You don’t need to install access key separately as in Mini Sap it is re-installed for BCUSER. But if you still need access key enter 29671482393151224771.

How to obtain & install the license of Mini Sap

You can use MiniSap for 4 weeks without installing license. After that you have to install new license which is valid for 3 months. You can renew that license in every 3 months.

To obtain license key:-

1. To obtain the 90 days trial period go to link below and fill out the form there.
http://www.sap.com/minisap

2. After inserting all the details you will get the License key notification mail with attached file for importing the license key.

You will receive email notification with license file.

To install license key:-

1. Login with Sap*, go to SAP Slicense Administration transaction by using the tcode Slicense.
Click on install button.

2. Select the previously stored license key (which you received in email attachment from sdn.sap.com) file and click on open. The new license will be installed.
3. On successful installation, you will receive notification like the one below.

4. You can find the installed license key on installed license under Slicense t-code.

To delete old license in MiniSap

1. Go to Slicense Administration transaction by using the tcode Slicense.(never  login with SAP* to delete the old license) 
2  Select the old license, click on Edit >Delete License from above menu.

 

How to Install and configure MaxDB Database Manager and SQL Studio for Mini Sap

We use MaxDB Database Manager and SQL Studio to view or change database tables.

1. To install MaxDB Database Manager go to maxdbtools>DBM76.exe in MiniSap installation folder.Follow the installation wizard to complete the installation.

2. After installation complete open Database Manager.
3. Click on Add button.

4 On new window, click on Add again.

5. Here you will find NSP database. Click on OK to continue.
6 NSP database is added double-click on it.
7 A new window will appear, enter the information specify on screenshot below

1. To install MaxDB SQL Studio go to maxdbtools>SQLSTD76.exe in MiniSap installation folder.Follow the installation wizard to complete the installation.
2. After installation complete double click on SQL STUDIO icon created on your desktop.
3. Go to session>connect or click on session button.

4. Enter the information specify on screenshot below.

You are done!
Don’t modify the system tables it can make your Sap system unstable.

How to run MiniSap for the first time.

1. After installation click on SAP Management Console icon created on your desktop.

2. This will open Sap MMC, Here right click on NSP and choose start. (Remember NSP is a default server for Sap Netweaver 7.01 Trial Version.

3. It will ask for the password. Insert your PC password. If your PC has no password create one as you cannot use blank password here.

4. Close Console Root window without saving when server sign turns green.

5. Install Sap Logon from installation folder by selecting SAPGUI>SapGuiSetup.   
6. Open Sap Logon click on New Items and fill the following entries in System Connection Parameters.

7. Click on NSP on Sap logon pad and login screen will appear.
8. Three users are installed: BCUSER, DDIC and SAP*. The password for each user is: minisap. You can find them on logon screen.

  

How to install Mini sap or Sap NetWeaver 7.01 Trial Version

Download location for Sap Netweaver 7.01 Trial Version or Mini Sap

1. Go to http://www.sdn.sap.com.
2. To download Mini Sap you first need  to register.
3. After login click on download >SAP NETWEAVER MAIN RELEASE
4. There you will find different versions of sap release click on Sap Netweaver 7.01-ABAP Trial Version.(Note:- Now SAP Netweaver ABAP 7.02 Trial version is also available)

 5. You will get two files to download, in order to install Mini Sap you need to download both the files.  

Things to make sure before you install Mini Sap

Make sure that your system should have:-

1. 12 GB Disk space (24 GB temporary)
2. 1 GB Ram
3. Windows XP Professional or Vista or Windows Server 2003

(Note:- No other Sap system should be installed prior to this installation)

10 simple steps to install Mini Sap or Sap Netweaver 7.01 Trial Version

1. After you download both the files place them in one folder in your Local disk & extract SAPNW7.01ABATrial.part1.rar. After extracting your folder should have these files:-

2. Remember before MiniSap installation, you need to install SAPMMC. To install SAPMMC go to SAPMMC >SAPMMC×86u.

3. Now click on image > setup to start the MiniSap installation.

4. Specify the Master password. Click Next

5. Next it will show you summary and installation location of MaxDB & Application Server.

 

6. Click on Install button and SAP Netweaver 7.01 ABAP installation will start.
7. Installation will take approximate 30mins in a good PC.

8. After installation complete click on Start Application Server and then click on Next. 

9. Click on finish and you have Mini Sap installed on your PC. 

10. Restart your computer.
